Mozaik Design Showroom in Istanbul is a re-imagined furniture showroom, built around the raw character of concrete and steel.

Commissioned by Mozaik, Turkey's leading furniture distributor, the project brings precision and imperfection into the same room. For over thirty years, Mozaik has been one of the principal channels by which European design has reached Turkey, its collection running from pieces in MoMA's permanent collection to roughly 150 houses, including B&B Italia, Vitra, and Flos.

The building's flaws, patina, and structural honesty are kept in full view. Inserted against them, a clean, floating framework reorders circulation and reshapes how each piece is met. Transparency, texture, and height set the rhythm of the plan; sightlines open and close as the visitor moves through it. Cut-outs, steel mesh curtains, and semi-transparent partitions let the rooms read into one another, while still framing each piece on its own terms.
